Ingredients

• Pernod absinthe rinse
• 1 oz Pierre Ferrand 1840 Cognac
• 1 oz Old Overholt Rye
• 1/2 oz Giffard Banane du Brésil
• 1/2 barspoon Demerara Gum Syrup
• Garnish: lemon twist

Instructions

• Add remaining ingredients to a mixing glass over ice
• Stir until chilled
• Rinse a rocks glass with absinthe
• Strain into glass
• Express lemon twist over glass and discard
